Excerpts from the Gray Knob Log Book

Constructed in 1905 and replaced
with a brand new building in 1989, the old Gray Knob was very
special to many people. All that is left of the old cabin are
pictures, memories, and... the log books! The Randolph Mountain
Club would like to share with you excerpts from the Gray Knob
log books, from 1906 to 1989. Even with all the inside jokes
and obscure references that only a RMC caretaker would understand,
these entries are fun to read - and have now found a permanent
home for everyone to enjoy.
